   I need some assistance in buying the correct equipment , I am located in Lovemore Heights , 33 59 36.88S and 25 32 02.68E , I did use the LOS calculator and there seems to be some links available , what would the best be?
   Any info appreciated..

   Hi Fouchm

   I see you are behind the Lovemore Heights tower, this will be a problem for signal as we are using a sector antenna that only provides signal 120 deg in front of it.

   Well depending on how good the line of site to your house is (and financial situation) you could possibly put up a tower and wait for us to link the two high sites...(yours and ours).

   I see there is at least one other user registered with line of site to your house. I am sure there are quite a few ppl that would be interested!

   Hi There

   I have a similar problem in that I am on the other side of the hill to the lovemore heights tower. Is there any way I can connect? can you connect to another users house nearby that can see the tower. any suggestion would be helpful

   Hey shearer, I'm not sure whether you'll connect directly although you are pretty close. If you can find someone nearby that connects directly you could work something out, yea.

   Although have you done a signal test yet to rule out connecting directly?

   Nope no signal test. I just did the line of sight test, which doesn't look good.

   There is a church in that area, I can see the bell tower pretty easily. that would be a prime spot for a highsite in that area, or if u can think of any others....

    Hi Shearer,

    Your best solution would be to speak to BBJ. He should have LOS to you and fouchm easily.

    However that would mean he needs a second card to point a grid / sector in your direction.

    Find out from him - I am sure he wouldn't mind putting that up if you two share the cost for the equipment.

    From there he connects to me in Lorraine and then up to Lovemore(North Side).

    That is all I can suggest for now with minimal $.
