OK so you are interested in connecting, here is a set by step guide:
- Got to www.wug.za.net and register
- Using Google Earth, get the coordinates of your location
- Using these coordinates add your location on the WUGNET on the www.wug.za.net site (not the forum)
- Once you have added your location, use the line of site calculator to test if you have line of site with one of the towers (we currently only have two towers Lovemore Heights and Theescombe Hill)
- You can also check coverage on the google maps here
- If you have LOS (line of site), your next move will be selecting the equipment you will need to connect.
- You can either contact Digital Dynamix on 041 3609589 if you know what you want, or contact us on the IRC channel if you need help selecting.
