Hi my name is Tom And I am a Technician working in the Radio & TV Transmitter field.. So no guessing who I work for. Blush. I used to enjoy building up really fast up to date pc`s till I got a marine tank.. Now I am just skint.
Aerosat is my current isp and I am on the 64k package.

I'm actually not in any form of IT profession.. but I am a Linux geek and very interested in this WUG stuff.. right now though I do not have any equipment and work is too busy (mostly out of town) to commit myself right now.. - this is just for a month or two at most and thereafter I'll definitely be seeing to getting some equipment and getting more active..

My name is Zenon (no surname necessary with a name like that!). I am an I.T. Consultant, technician (and slave). I have been trying to get the PE wireless scene going for about 2 years and figured word of mouth would be good enough.. Well it seems the web is the way!
I have quite alot of experience in Wireless - (worked for those evil ppl at Aerocrash, sorry, I meant Aerocrap, (excuse the negativity), I installed the IBurst towers in PE and the MWeb Wimax Pilot project towers in CT and JHB to mention some.
I am very keen to get a good quality mesh wireless network going and have a 16m (did anyone say "illigal"?) at my house with a 2.4 12db omni for anyone in range to link to. I have at least one grid and sometimes up to three along with a panel or two for good measure.
Looking forward to the meeting.

I'm Emile, I own a small IT store and I'm also studying BCOM Law at UPE, I'm in Lorraine manor up against the hill. Good to see there is a local network one can join as I've been trying to get something like this up for years between me and my friends to exchange data. Now it saves the HDD from being plugged in and out the whole time.

I am a IT techie, I am really interrested in getting connected! I work for a IT company and we have a HUGE wireless ISP network running from Humansdorp, J bay, Hankey Patensie all the way to Kareedouw.
I can get hold of the the equipment and stuff to help! I know the basics of the Mikrotik stuff, but I have built networks with Senoa units etc etc. My boss is an expert with wireless so any help we will need he will gladly provide! He built our network from scratch!
So, lets get this thing going!!

Marcel Grandemange, work for company called e-soul technologies.
Recently took over plan-b wireless for providing access for staff members to nmmu network & providing internet access.
Based in Summerstrand,Humewood,South End,Central etc....
Responsible for server farm, design and implementation of all networks and monitoring and notification services.

situated in Walmer but it seems not to many other guys are in walmer.. Hopefully in the future the network can expand
