   I have created the IRC channel on wug.za.net's server, as all the other wugs seem to have their channels there.

   If you have an IRC client already, the server is irc.wug.za.net on port 6667. The channel name is #pewug.

   There are quite a few IRC clients available - see http://www.dmoz.org/Computers/Software/Internet/Clients/Chat/IRC/ for a list of clients and more info on IRC.

   EDIT:
   To register your nickname on the server, do the following:

2. Log onto the IRC server
3. Type the following, replacing password with your own password, and email with a valid email address: /nickserv register password email
4. Retrieve authentication code sent to your email address
5. Type the following in the IRC client: /nickserv auth code
6. If your IRC client supports password storage for a nick, set it, else each time you connect to the IRC server, you will need to do the following: /nickserv identify password
